Pearl Home & Baby

The story of Markos's business began in 1981. With quality and a relationship of trust with customers always at its core, Pearl Home & Baby became one of the most important stores in the home linen sector.

For Markos, it's not just about selling something; he wants to offer the perfect shopping experience to his customers. That's why, in 2020, he decided to start his collaboration with Skroutz through the Marketplace.

"From the day we joined Skroutz Marketplace until today, we have had 4,000 orders" , says Markos.

But for Markos, Skroutz Marketplace didn't just bring more sales and greater recognition to his business. The ease of management of the platform, the reduced shipping costs, and the processes handled by the Skroutz team helped him incredibly in the daily operation of his store.

"Marketplace has made online selling so convenient and easy for all of us who are not organized e-shops, don't have big logistics systems, or dozens of employees, but just have a physical store and want to also operate as an e-shop."

Markos characteristically says, "A new product we receive, to upload it to the Skroutz platform, literally takes me 10 seconds. The same product, to upload it to our own e-shop, correctly, with all its features, even 2 hours are not enough."

And just as quickly, he can now manage his daily orders.

"To prepare an order from Skroutz, it doesn't take me more than 3 minutes. I accept the order, print my voucher, it leaves, and from then on I'm carefree."

"Whereas to prepare the orders from our own e-shop, I have to send a list of the orders, send detailed package dimensions, wait for the courier company to reply, send costs, coordinate for pickup, and so on... Whereas everything is much easier with Skroutz. And certainly, the final management and shipping cost is higher if you do it yourself with your own e-shop."

Today, Pearl Home & Baby continues its successful collaboration with Skroutz, while Markos decided to install an automatic Skroutz Point pickup point outside his store to make things even easier for his customers and increase foot traffic outside his business.
