Manolis's entrepreneurial 'journey' began in Heraklion, Crete, in 2010, when he decided to turn his idea for an e-shop selling electrical supplies into reality.

The first step was sourcing his merchandise from the United Arab Emirates and China. The second big step came 3-4 months later, when he decided to list e-damianakis.gr on the Skroutz platform. Since then, Manolis's business has become one of the top in its category in the online market!

"I started managing the e-shop on my own, and now we have reached 18 people." , says Manolis.

The success of e-damianakis.gr grew when Manolis activated the storage & order management service Fulfilled by Skroutz (FBS) last September. Now, part of his orders are packed, shipped, and fulfilled entirely by the Skroutz team, without him having to do anything!

"Skroutz is a platform that sells without bothering me at all!" , says Manolis characteristically.

Through the FBS service, Manolis managed to get his products from Crete to all over Greece in just 1 day, while saving effort and time for himself and his team.

"Within 1 day, our products can reach all major cities, where 60% of the population lives, and I no longer need to have my staff packing or preparing parcels. In the same time, we can do so much more." , he tells us.

"He goes on to emphasize how much more efficient his business has become now that Skroutz has taken over all the fixed costs for him."

"Stock costs money. Storage, management, products that expire or go out of the market—all these cost us thousands of euros a year. Now I don't have to worry about any of that."

Manolis believes that the future of commerce lies in local hubs and the automation of order fulfillment. And all this can be offered by Skroutz at a very reasonable cost for both him and the end consumer. As he himself mentions,

"It is a win-win relationship!"
